New package travel directive from 1 July 2018
The new rules concerning package travels will enter into force on 1 July 2018 and will strengthen the rights of consumers in the EU.

Situation for travel reservations until 30/06/2018:
A package travel is considered to be an organized travel that has to include at least two travel services, as for example, transport and accommodation and must be sold at an inclusive price.
The European Directive 90/314 on package travel, package holiday and package tours has strengthened consumer rights in this area.
