The ECC invites you to discover the judgments on consumer rights rendered in 2019 and 2020 by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).

The Court of Justice of the European Union is the European Union’s highest authority on Union law. The Court ensures that Union law is applied and interpreted uniformly throughout the Union.

To this end, it monitors the legality of acts of the institutions of the European Union and rules on compliance by Member States with their obligations under the Treaties.

It also interprets Union law at the request of national judges. The interpretation thus provided by the CJEU creates case law for future similar cases.
