Due to the measures taken in connection with the coronavirus, we are unfortunately unable to welcome you – as usual – to our “Midi du consommateur européen” at the House of the European Union. However, as we would like to continue this event, the Liaison Office of the European Parliament in Luxembourg, the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg and the European Consumer Centre Luxembourg invite you to a webinar on “Travelling in times of Corona”.
Canceled flights, closed hotels, unauthorised travel, etc. – the global Covid-19 pandemic has created a chaotic situation for travellers around the world. Can consumers in this situation expect that their rights will be safeguarded?
This question was answered by Mr Marc Angel, Member of the European Parliament, Mr Olivier Waldner, Chef d’Unité adjoint of Unit in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, Mrs Barbara Mentre, Chargée des affaires juridiques in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Justice and Consumer Affairs, together with experts from the European Consumer Centre in Luxembourg.
The presentations will be held in French. Questions can be asked in French, Luxembourgish, English or German.
