Consumers are invited to participate in the survey via link
The European Commission launched a study, which deals with cross border purchases by private individuals and purchases online or by telephone (distance selling) of excise goods such as tobacco and alcohol. Consumers are invited to participate in the survey via the following link.
The study aims to thoroughly evaluate the current arrangements in place in each EU Member State for products subject to excise duty as outlined in Directive 2008/118/EC, covering alcohol, tobacco and energy products. This study will be used by the Commission to support discussions around the Directive. The questionnaire takes only five to ten minutes to complete. Your feedback is crucial!
